Here’s a pretty big OnePlus TV leak. If the details are correct, then we now suddenly know a lot more about OnePlus TV.

OnePlus will apparently not only announce one OnePlus TV device, but also a “Pro” version and even a soundbar

Latest leaks also reveals specs and pricing.

More than one OnePlus TV coming?

The information comes from PC-Tablet and 247techie. One of the major takeaways is that there are two OnePlus TV models coming, referred to as OnePlus TV Q1 and Q1 Pro. As to be expected, the “Pro” version is a more premium version.

The leak also comes with a spec sheet. Again, if correct, OnePlus TV Q1 will feature a 55-inch QLED display with a 3840 x 2160 resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, Bluetooth 5.0, 20-watt audio output, and of course, an OxygenOS version of Android TV. Apparently it will be called OnePlus TV OS. Adding to that, the leak suggests there will be three HDMI ports, two USB ports, and an Ethernet port.

The TV is also reportedly powered by a MediaTek MT5670 processor along with 2.5GB RAM and 16GB storage.

Generally speaking, the leak suggests the Q1 Pro will come with an identical spec list. This is with the exception of improved audio, a 65-inch screen and support for HDR 10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Digital.

Padding out the improved audio, the Pro version comes equipped with what’s basically, an attached soundbar. This soundbar houses eight speakers, resulting in a combined output of 50 watts.

Speaking of soundbar, it appears OnePlus will be selling one separately as well. It would seem the soundbar is designed mainly for the non-Pro version.

Pricing proves interesting

The latest leak suggests pricing for OnePlus TV will come in at Rs. 64,999. That equates to just over $900 in US terms.

The leak does not clarify whether this is for the Q1 or the Q1 Pro but if it is correct, it stands to reason it will be for the standard model.

OnePlus has routinely pushed forward with a “premium” product and explained OnePlus TV will be priced comparable to Samsung and Sony. If the pricing mentioned here is directly related to the standard version then it could be the case the Pro model is significantly more expensive. Especially considering the standard model appears to lack many of those promised premium aspects.

More details on OnePlus TV remote

OnePlus previously released an image of the OnePlus TV remote. However, the teaser image included a button that had no visible markings. Considering this is Android TV the natural assumption would be the button is for Netflix. That does not appear to be the case.

One of the most revealing images in the latest leak is the one shown at the top of the article with the TV in the background and the remote in the forefront. As this is a hands-on type of image, the remote is shown without any edits. The mystery button is for Amazon Prime Video.

This is a fairly major deviation from other Android TV devices, although it’s probably not a surprising one. After all, OnePlus appears to be partnering with Amazon on the Indian OnePlus TV launch and it seems likely this is a result of that partnership. Albeit one that comes at the cost of Netflix.

That’s not to say the button will be used for Prime Video if, and when, OnePlus TV launches in other countries.
