BodyGuardz on Tuesday announced several products meant to keep the newly unveiled Samsung Galaxy S20 flagships from harm’s way.

The Harmony Case and Ace Pro Case are at the core of the portfolio that debuted immediately following Samsung’s Tuesday launch. The accessories are available in Smoke/Black and what’s reminiscent of Samsung’s Aura Glow finish.

Much like its name suggests, the Harmony series is meant to be both durable and easy on the eye. It starts at just under $32 and covers the entirety of Samsung’s latest flagship range.

Sporting a $27.96 pre-order price tag is the Ace Pro Case line, a product family placing a larger focus on athletes. Both the Harmony and Ace Pro series will have slightly higher post-launch prices – $34.95 and $39.95, respectively.

Furthermore, those looking to score extra style points will soon be able to pick up the Accent Duo Case from BodyGuardz for $59.95. Made of real leather, this protective accessory also won’t impede the Galaxy S20 line’s wireless charging capabilities. As things stand right now, the luxurious item will skip on the regular Galaxy S20.

Finally, the UltraTough self-healing film completes the list of new additions to the BodyGuardz portfolio. The self-explanatory screen cover will retail at $24.95 and mend any microscratches your new phablet might sustain. Naturally, BodyGuardz designed the protective barrier not to interfere with the in-display fingerprint reader of Samsung’s latest Android flagships.

All of the new protective accessories for the Galaxy S20 devices can already be pre-ordered from the official BodyGuardz store. The Utah-based firm also attached a lifetime warranty to the entire range and offers free domestic shipping.

Samsung Galaxy S20: expensive enough to warrant bodyguards

Samsung’s Tuesday launch saw the company double down on its ultra-premium mobile formula. The Galaxy S20 range starts at $1,000 in the U.S. and is hence the manufacturer’s most expensive mainstream smartphone range to date.

That isn’t to say consumers won’t get a lot of bang for their buck; between new processors, refined software, and impressively massive camera sensors, the Galaxy S20 phablets certainly excel in most respects. Samsung went all in with its first high-end handsets of the year and will likely be marketing them quite aggressively throughout 2020.

Time will tell whether the market deems these phablets worthy of the annual price hikes they introduced. Regardless, there’s no doubt those who purchase them will want to invest some extra money into a protective case. After all, Samsung’s ultra-premium handsets are still outperforming most of their Android rivals in terms of resale value and this year should be no different in that respect.
