The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has just surfaced yet again, this time around, on Geekbench. This listing confirms some of the phone’s specifications, and there are no surprises here.

Geekbench confirms Android 10 will come pre-installed on the Galaxy Z Flip

The Galaxy Z Flip appeared under the model number ‘SM-F700N’ on Geekbench. The listing surfaced today, and it reveals that the phone will ship with Android 10 out of the box.

On top of Google’s operating system, you can expect to see Samsung’s custom UI, of course. To be more specific, the Galaxy Z Flip is expected to include One UI 2.1.

The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 855+, which is something this listing points towards as well. Geekbench also confirms that the Z Flip will include 8GB of RAM. It seems like that will be the only model of the phone.

The Galaxy Z Flip managed to hit 725 points in the single-core, and 2,610 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. These results are not as accurate as they should be, not even close, do don’t pay much attention to them.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip actually surfaced in a hands-on video quite recently. That video gave us a pretty good look at the phone. The Z Flip will be extremely tall, it seems, and the design is exactly what we’ve expected.

That video gave us all a look at the phone’s ‘Focus Display’, which will be placed on the outside. The Z Flip is expected to arrive on February 11, and become available from February 14, at least in the US.

The phone will become official alongside the Galaxy S20 series in San Francisco. This handset will be a direct competitor to the Motorola Razr, and it will become Samsung’s second foldable handset.

The device will cost around $1,500 in the US

The Galaxy Z Flip will cost around $1,500 in the US, so it’ll be quite expensive. This is not the only foldable Samsung will release in 2020, not even close.

As per rumors, the company is planning to announce quite a few foldable smartphones this year. The Galaxy Fold 2 is quite probably the most anticipated one. That device is expected to become Samsung’s new flagship foldable smartphone.

Rumors are saying it will arrive in the first half of the year, and that is possible. We don’t know when exactly will that happen, however. Leaks are expected to commence soon after MWC 2020.
