Samsung has integrated Google Duo into the dialer app on its new Galaxy S20 flagships. The company had introduced three devices as part of the Galaxy S20 lineup today, and all three come with Google Duo baked in.

The Galaxy S20 integration is a huge step forward for Google Duo

This is a huge step for Google Duo, needless to say. Samsung has integrated Google’s video chatting app in order to offer users a convenient way to make video calls.

Google Duo has been around for quite some time now, though it did not become as popular as some other video-chatting services. This integration may change that, as Samsung is the number one smartphone manufacturer in the world.

This integration will expose Google Duo to a large number of people from all over the world. All those users need in order to use Duo, is Google’s account, and they already have that, as they’re using an Android phone.

The Google Duo icon is visible the moment you open the dialer app. We haven’t really been able to take a picture of it on the device, but we did see it, briefly.

You get exclusive fullHD video chat option on Samsung’s new flagships

Samsung also confirmed that you’ll be able to conduct fullHD video chats this way. That’s a first for Google Duo, as other phones support HD video chats via Duo.

FullHD video chat will probably be coming to more phones in the future. But, for the time being, it’s a Galaxy S20 exclusive, and another selling point for Samsung’s new flagships.

As most of you know by now, Samsung introduced three Galaxy S20 handsets. The company announced the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra during an event in San Francisco.

All three phones are made out of metal and glass, though they’re all different in terms of size. That’s not the only difference between them, though, as the S20 Ultra stands out.

The S20 Ultra is the largest Galaxy S20 handset, no doubt about it. It’s also the only one that is made out of stainless steel and glass, which makes it considerably heavier than the other two.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra also has the most curved display out of the three devices, and the most powerful cameras setup. All three phones are fueled by the Snapdragon 865 SoC, and all three ship with Android 10 out of the box.

You’ll find 12GB of RAM on these devices, while the S20 Ultra is also available in a 16GB RAM flavor. All three phones are IP68 certified, and offer fast charging. Click here for more info.
