Verizon, one of the largest carriers in the US, will only offer two out of three Galaxy S20 handsets on March 6. The Galaxy S20+ and S20 Ultra will become available, while the regular S20 will become available sometime in Q2.

Verizon will initially sell two out of three Galaxy S20 variants

Both of those smartphones will take advantage of Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network. They will also work on the company’s low-band 5G network later this year, as that is when Verizon will launch it.

Verizon also notes that both of those devices will work great on 4G LTE as well, of course. In case you’re wondering what is low-band 5G network, it’s also known as Sub-6 5G.

The other three major players in the US already use low-band 5G, which is why they’ll carry all three phones from the get-go. And just to be clear, all Galaxy S20 units that will be sold in the US support 5G.

This may anger some Verizon Wireless consumers, specifically the ones interested in the regular Galaxy S20. That is understandable, as not everyone wants the Galaxy S20+ or S20 Ultra. There are various reasons for that, both of those are both larger, and more expensive than the regular Galaxy S20.

Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra will become available for pre-order starting on February 21. They will go on sale starting from March 6. The pricing for the Galaxy S20 series starts at $999, that is the price tag for the most affordable unit. The Galaxy S20+ costs $1,199, while the S20 Ultra will set you back $1,399.

You’ll be able to get the Galaxy S20 for as low as $41.66 a month for 24 months on Verizon Device Payment. In the case of the Galaxy S20+, and S20 Ultra, those numbers are a bit higher. To be exact, you can get those two for $49.99 and $58.33 for 24 months on Verizon Device Payment, respectively.

Only the ‘Ultra’ model will come in a 16GB RAM variant

Do note that the S20 Ultra will also be available in a 16GB RAM variant, and that model will cost $1,699. All variants of the Galaxy S20 will ship with 128GB of storage, except for the 16GB RAM Galaxy S20 Ultra, which will include 512GB of storage. All units will include a microSD card expansion option.

Unlocked variants of all three phones will also be available in the US, in case you’re wondering. Those will also be 5G models, by the way.

It is also worth noting that, if you pre-order before March 5, you’ll get credit for Samsung.com. You’ll be able to use that credit to buy the new Galaxy Buds+, cases, or whatever else is on offer.

Speaking of credit, if you pre-order the Galaxy S20 before March 5, you’ll get $100 in credit. The Galaxy S20+ will get you $150, while the S20 Ultra will secure you $200 in credit.
