T-Mobile is bringing back its annual free MLB TV offer on March 24, via T-Mobile Tuesdays, the company has revealed. That’s based on recently-reported tweets from the carrier’s official help page on Twitter. As is implied, that means users will be able to log into that app and pick up a 2020 subscription to the service.

For clarity, the offer is good for a free subscription to MLB TV via the company’s partnership with the MLB. This year, that’s a value of around $121.99 for no cost to T-Mobile customers from the league’s official wireless sponsor.

That nets users every out-of-market regular-season game live or on-demand. Additionally, it allows users to choose home or away feeds. The deal has typically included not only the ability to watch on iOS or Android. But it has also included the ability to watch on set-top boxes and game consoles.

How to gain access to MLB.TV on T-Mobile

Gaining access to MLB TV through T-Mobile Tuesdays is a straightforward process. On Tuesday, March 24, the carrier’s customers will need to download and be signed in to the application. The offer should be featured fairly prominently within the application itself.

Taking advantage of the offer, the next step will be to download the MLB application for Android from the Google Play Store. The MLB TV content can be found in that app under the “TV” icon at the top-right-hand side of the UI.

Conversely, MLB TV content is also available online. That can be found by navigating to “MLB.TV” in a browser. The additional option gives users a far greater number of platforms for accessing the content than just via mobile. Continuing in that theme, the content is also available on multiple other platforms.

The official site lists compatibility and support on Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles. Users can also access via select Samsung TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Android TV, and Apple’s TV platform. Finally, Chromecast support is provided so there’s no need to worry if that’s the only large-screen viewing method available.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anybody at this point

Now, this isn’t the first year that T-Mobile has extended a free MLB TV offer to its customers via the T-Mobile Tuesdays application. In fact, this offer shouldn’t come as a surprise to any baseball fans who have been with T-Mobile for a while now. The company has put forward the perk for several years already.

More importantly, the company announced a four-year partnership with the league starting last year. That included access to MLB TV for consumers and to all of that app’s premium features. Presumably, that access will continue to be made available through at least 2022.

Typically, the company has offered secondary perks alongside its more general offer. In 2019, those that signed up on day one were eligible for a VIP trip to select events during All-Star Week in Cleveland. The company hasn’t relayed what, if any, special additional perks will be available for the 2020 season.
