OPPO is planning to announce its Find X2 flagships today, and will livestream the event. The company will announce two phones as part of its new flagship series, the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro.
The company will livestream the Find X2 event via YouTube. In case you’re interested in following things happen live, you can do that via the link that is embedded below this article.
The OPPO Find X2 series livestream will kick off at 10:30AM CET
The launch event will start at 10:30AM CET / 1:30AM PST / 4:30AM EST. The Find X2 flagships are not the only devices that will be announced, though. The company is also planning to announce its first smartwatch, the OPPO Watch.
OPPO had confirmed the designs of the Find X2 series and the OPPO Watch quite recently. Some spec info also surfaced recently, so we know what to expect out of these devices.
The OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro will look almost identical. The only difference in terms of the design will be noticeable on the rear-facing camera module. The Find X2 Pro is expected to arrive in a Vegan Leather variant, though, which will be easily noticeable.
The two phones will feature curved displays, and really thin bezels. A display camera hole will be placed in the top-left corner, while their rear camera will be vertically-aligned. They will be placed in the top-left corner, on the back.
Both phones will feature 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz OLED displays. The Snapdragon 865 will fuel both devices, while you can expect to get LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 flash storage here.
Both devices will include large batteries, and on top of that, really fast charging. OPPO’s Super VOOC 2.0 fast charging will be included, and we’re looking at 65W charging here. So, you won’t have to worry about battery life either way, it seems.
The ‘Pro’ model will include a periscope camera on the back
The ‘Pro’ model is expected to include a periscope camera on the back, in addition to two additional sensors. The regular unit will also include three cameras on the back, but the sensors won’t be the same.
Now, as far as the OPPO Watch is concerned, well, it seems like it will resemble the Apple Watch quite a bit. It will not include a crown on the right side, though, instead, OPPO included two physical buttons.
The device will feature a curved display, and a square body. That watch will also ship in more color variants, OPPO already showed us the black and gold models, with watch bands that are also different in terms of color.
OPPO may surprise us and announce something else other than its flagships and a smartwatch. We’ll have to wait and see.
