The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 may include a larger battery than initial reports suggested. According to a new piece of information, shared by SamMobile, the Galaxy Note 20 will include a 4,300mAh unit.

The device was rumored to include a 4,000mAh battery not long ago. The Galaxy Note 20+, on the other hand, is expected to arrive with a 4,500mAh battery.

The Galaxy Note 20 will include a larger battery than initial reports suggested, certification claims

The information regarding the Galaxy Note 20 battery seems to be legit this time around. Why? Well, because it popped up on China’s 3C certification website.

According to the information, a device with a model number EB-BN980ABY, will include a 4,170mAh battery. That device is probably the upcoming Galaxy Note 20, by the way.

Some of you may wonder why did we mention a 4,300mAh unit, when the rated one is 4,170mAh. Well, the Galaxy Note 10+ had a battery capacity rated at 4,170mAh as well, but turned out to offer a 4,300mAh unit. Well, at least Samsung marketed it as such.

Now, if that ends up being the case, and the Galaxy Note 20 ends up utilizing a 4,300mAh pack, then it will be more compelling in that regard than initially anticipated.

If that happens, it will have only slightly smaller battery than the Galaxy Note 20+. Considering that the Galaxy Note 20 is expected to offer a smaller display than the Note 20+, and a lower refresh rate, that juice pack will be more than enough.

In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Galaxy Note 20 ends up offering better battery life than its sibling. The Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ will offer a 120Hz QHD+ OLED display, though it will be an LTPO panel.

The device will include a 60Hz LTPS display, it seems

That panel will be more power efficient than the LTPS one on the Galaxy Note 20. It will be interesting to see how will the two phones compare in terms of battery life.

Both of these smartphones are expected to arrive in August. The devices will include an S Pen stylus, and flagship-grade specifications. Both devices actually surfaced in CAD-based renders not long ago.

The Galaxy Note 20 is expected to offer a 6.7-inch display, while the Note 20+ will sport a 6.9-inch panel. The two devices will look quite similar, and will both offer 16GB of RAM, allegedly.

Android 10 will come pre-installed on both phones, by the way. Samsung’s custom UI will be included as well, as will a display camera hole on each phone. Bezels will be almost non-existent, while the Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to arrive alongside these devices.
