After quite a few leaks, Samsung has finally lifted the veil on the BTS Edition of the Galaxy S20+ 5G and the Galaxy Buds+.
This is a pretty unique collaboration for Samsung, and it is going to allow members of the BTS A.R.M.Y. to show off their strong connection to the K-Pop group. Which has taken the entire world by storm, including the US which is surprising since only one member can speak English fluently.
The BTS Editions are the same, internally as the regular Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+
The biggest difference between the BTS Editions and the regular models, is the paint job on the exterior of the devices. And the unboxing experience of both devices.
The Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition will have the iconic purple heart design and a beautiful purple glass and metal exterior. It also comes with some BTS-inspired themes pre-installed, and fan community platform, Weverse. In the box, the Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition will come with some decorative stickers for added personalization and photo cards, which feature pictures of the band members.
Now the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition and the charging case will be available in purple. They also carry the band’s logo and purple heart iconography. Just like the Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition, the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition also comes with photo cards of the band in the box.
Available starting on July 9
Both of the BTS Edition devices will be available on Samsung.com and Amazon.com starting on July 9. This date is special, as it marks the seventh anniversary of the BTS fan collective.
However, from June 19 to July 8, the Galaxy Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition and the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition will be available for pre-order on Samsung’s website. The Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition will be available unlocked (so it will work on all four US carriers). Those that pre-order the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition can get a 50% discount on the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition, as well as a free limited edition poster featuring BTS. Now, if you pre-order both devices, you can get two free limited edition posters.
The Galaxy Buds+ also come with a BTS Wireless Charger. As always, these offers are in limited supply, so you’d better get your pre-order in quickly.
