Samsung has announced yet another variant of the Galaxy S20. This time around, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S20 Ultra Limited Edition White handset, which is a special edition of the phone.
This handset has been announced in Vietnam, and that name is machine translated from Vietnamese. As you can see, this phone comes with a silver-colored frame, and a white backplate.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Limited Edition White comes with Harman Kardon Aura Studio 3 speakers
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Limited Edition White is priced at VND29,990,000 ($1,290/€1,140) in Vietnam. The phone will be up for pre-order from June 12 and 18. Users who pre-order it, will get the Harman Kardon Aura Studio 3 speakers.
Those speakers alone are worth VND6,900,000 ($300/€260), by the way. On top of that, an immediate cashback of VND4,000,000 ($170/€150) is also included.
The phone will go on sale starting from June 19. It will be available through CellPhoneS retail stores. Those consumers who purchase the device between June 19 and 21 will get an additional discount fo VND3,000,000 ($130/€115).
As far as we can see, this phone offers the same specifications as the Galaxy S20 Ultra 4G variant. This variant of the phone comes with the Exynos 990 SoC, not the Snapdragon 865, by the way.
The phone also includes a 6.9-inch QHD Dynamic AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. That panel is curved, and it comes with a camera hole at the top.
A 108-megapixel camera is included on the back, along with three additional sensors
Bezels on this phone are almost non-existent, while the device has a large camera module on the back. A 108-megapixel main camera is backed by a 48-megapixel periscope lens. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera is also included, along with a 0.3-megapixel ToF unit.
A single 40-megapixel camera can be found on the phone’s front side. A 5,000mAh battery is also included in the package, along with 45W fast wired charging. 15W wireless charging is also supported, as is 9W reverse wireless charging.
The phone includes stereo speakers, which are tuned by AKG. A 3.5mm headphone jack is not a part of the offering, though.
Samsung did not mention the memory configuration of this smartphone, but we’ll assume it’s the same as on regular models in Vietnam. So, this phone probably packs in 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. You can expand that with a microSD card up to 1TB.
Samsung’s most powerful handset has just received a limited edition model, with 4G support only. It will be interesting to see if this color combo makes its way to other markets.
