As per a new development, the green tint display issue has now made its comeback with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

For the unaware, this same issue plagued the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, which came out earlier this year. And now, in a report by SamMobile, this display issue is spotted on the Galaxy Tab S7 and Note 20 Ultra.

Notably, the report points that already several Galaxy Note 20 and Tab S7 users have reported this issue. Low brightness setting reveals a greenish tint on the display.

What’s more interesting is that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra which is affected by this green-tint issue is powered by Snapdragon chipset. Whereas, this issue, earlier affected the Exynos model of the Galaxy S20 series.

This green tint issue is speculated to be related to the Super AMOLED drivers

Besides, as mentioned before, the Galaxy S20 devices were speculated to have faulty Super AMOLED drivers. Apparently, the same is the reason behind the green-tint issue of Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S7 tablets.

Samsung has done a good job in the market with its smartphone releases this year. Matter of fact, the company is also doing good when it comes to pushing timely updates.

However, one of the issues, that is pulling the company’s leg down is this display issue. As noted by Sammobile, all the devices in the recent memory seemed to have been surfaced with this issue.

The iPhone 11, Google Pixel 4 series, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus Nord, all have one thing in common, i.e. the green-tint display issue.

There are a bunch of Samsung Galaxy devices that were affected by this issue in the past. Moreover, it seems like the trend is continuing with the recent releases as well.

Users are unable to reach Samsung’s warranty department because of lockdown

Well, the world is still suffering from the impact of coronavirus. In fact, the numbers are just rising up. This is the reason several nations have re-imposed lockdowns.

This ultimately has impacted the users, as they cannot claim their Samsung warranty. Besides, the green-tint issue on the Galaxy S20 series was cured via a software update.

So, this gives some hope to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S7 users that there is a possibility that this issue will be resolved via a software update.

However, Samsung is yet to acknowledge this issue or release a statement regarding this matter. We will keep our eyes on the lookout for further developments in this regard.
