The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE display size and refresh rate have just been confirmed. The information comes from Ross Young, a well-known display analyst. He is usually spot on with his information, and he seems to be completely sure of the following.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will feature a large display with high refresh rate
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will feature a 6.5-inch display, its production started this month. Mr. Young also notes that the display is rigid, not flexible. That should actually save Samsung a lot of money.
That way, the company will be able to utilize a 120Hz refresh rate here. Some sources indicated that the phone will offer a 60Hz display, others a 120Hz display. Well, it seems like a high refresh rate won.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will be a more affordable variant of the Galaxy S20, it seems. It will still ship with the same processor as the Galaxy S20 series, and include most of its most important features.
The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 865, and it will sport an extremely compelling camera setup on the back. It is rumored to include the same camera setup as the Galaxy S20, but we’ll see.
6GB of RAM will be included, along with a large battery
The phone is expected to sport 6GB of RAM, and include a 4,500mAh battery. Android 10 will come pre-installed on the device, along with Samsung’s custom UI. Stereo speakers will also be a part of the package.
This smartphone leaked quite a few times thus far. We know exactly what to expect out of its design. The phone got shared in all color variants by Evan Blass, while its 360-degree video surfaced as well.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Fe will be made out of metal and glass, or metal and plastic, it remains to be seen. There’s a chance it will include a plastic backplate, similar to the Galaxy Note 20.
The phone will feature a flat display, and extremely thin bezels. A small display camera hole will also be a part of the package, while it will be centered at the top of the display. All the physical keys will be placed on the right.
The phone is said to sport an in-display fingerprint scanner, while its rear camera module will protrude on the back. Speaking of which, the phone will include three cameras on the back, and a single one on the front.
We’re still not sure when will this smartphone arrive, but it is expected to launch in the near future.
