T-Mobile Director of Creative Content Des Smith has a brand new unboxing showcasing Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 20 series. The promotional spot covers some of the biggest improvements of the new Galaxy Note 20 series over its predecessor. It puts the host’s exuberant personality at the forefront. And, of course, Des highlights some of the carrier’s partnerships with companies such as Netflix — reminding people to check out Floor is Lava on the platform.

These are the highlights of the Galaxy Note 20, according to T-Mobile

Samsung $999 Galaxy Note 20 5G and $1299 Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G are some of the most advanced devices released by the company to date. So there are a lot of specs discussed in the video itself. This device, at least in the, packs a Snapdragon 865+ chipset. That’s made for gaming, as shown throughout the video as Des plays Gameloft’s Asphalt 9 Game. It also delivers both Sub6 and mmWave 5G, the former of which is considered nationwide for T-Mobile.

Other key features include the in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor, wireless power-sharing, a new wireless DeX mode, and more. But highlights, according to T-Mobile, are the devices’ 5G connectivity, display technology, cameras, and the S Pen. Each of which has been refreshed and reworked all the way through to ensure a better experience across the board. That’s from a more natural pen experience to improved camera performance and new Pro Video features bringing Pro photo tools to video.

The device is coming to T-Mobile in all of its available color variations. That includes Mystic Gray, Green, and Bronze for the 6.7-inch FHD+ Display-enabled Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G. And Mystic Black, White, and Bronze for the 6.9-inch WQHD+ Display-enabled Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G. For the Ultra, buyers also get a higher-than-average refresh rate at 120Hz.

When will Samsung’s new flagship hit the ‘Uncarrier’?

The unboxing video ends with an on-screen link leading to a T-Mobile landing page Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G and Note 20 Ultra 5G. That page reveals just a few more details for the device on the carrier’s network. It also reveals some deals that are incoming with these new flagships.

First, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G and Note 20 Ultra 5G will land on T-Mobile’s site for pre-order as early as August 7. But it’s not going to cost an arm and a leg, at least not for everybody, once it does arrive. Customers who add a line to their existing account or join up with T-Mobile can actually get a second device at no cost.

The buy-one-get-one deal requires the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series gadget on a monthly payment plan. Customers need to buy a second device — of equal or lesser value — on a payment plan in order to get the deal. But the second device will effectively be free thanks to monthly bill credits applied by T-Mobile.

5G is included with the carrier’s eligible plans too. So users won’t need to pay extra to get access to 5G.
