T-Mobile has improved its Connecting Heroes initiative by offering exclusive savings on Samsung 5G smartphones. As announced by the company this gives first responder agencies even better deals through T-Mobile.

T-Mobile’s Connecting Heroes initiative was first announced back in May. It announced that first responder agencies would get ten years of free mobile service through the company. This coupled with other initiatives like T-Mobile Tuesdays and the company clearly leads the way when it comes to these sorts of marketing campaigns.

This further expansion of the Connecting Heroes initiative works on two levels for T-Mobile. It is a great way for them to support first responder agencies. However, it is also a useful marketing campaign for the company as it portrays them as an benevolent and generous company.

T-Mobile Connecting Heroes initiative extends further

T-Mobile has proudly announced that it will extend the Connecting Heroes initiative to offer saving on 5G Samsung smartphones. The company says this actually has practical reasoning behind it teaming up with Samsung.

The press release from T-Mobile claims that first responder agencies often have to choose between purchasing equipment and funding wireless connections. Both of which play their role in helping first responders do their jobs.

T-Mobile says that this expansion of the initiative will help solve some of those problems for first responders.

The specifics of the deal offer first responders up to 25% off Samsung smartphones. This deal comes through twenty-four monthly bill credits.

Overall, the deal includes the Galaxy Note20 5G Series, Galaxy S20 5G Series, Galaxy A71 5G, Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A21.

The 5G smartphones will, therefore, be able to access T-Mobile’s 5G network. This will give them top quality coverage in the countries biggest cities.

T-Mobile thanks first responders

Mike Katz, EVP, T-Mobile for Business has also made a statement thanking first responders to accompany this announcement. He said, “First responders are on the frontlines every day, keeping us safe and protecting us when we need them most”.

He went on to point out that “we want to give them the tools they need to do their jobs effectively”. Therefore, “we are pulling out the stops to help our first responders get and stay connected”.

Overall, this looks to be a positive move from T-Mobile by extending the Connecting Heroes initiative. No doubt many first responders will rightly be able ot take advantage of this generous deal and grab themselves a reduced Samsung smartphone.
