The HONOR Watch ES has been announced alongside the Watch GS Pro. You can read more about the GS Pro here, as we’ve covered that launch separately.
In any case, the HONOR Watch ES is a completely different offering than the GS Pro. The GS Pro is a circular, rugged smartwatch, while the Watch ES comes with a square body.
This watch includes a tall display, and features a single button the right. It includes a silicone band on it, and you can replace it with a standard watch band if you want. We still do not know the size of the strap, though.
The HONOR Watch ES is a fitness-oriented smartwatch
The HONOR Watch ES is a fitness-oriented smartwatch. It offers 44 animated exercise moves, 95 workout modes, and a range of health and fitness tracking capabilities.
The watch sports a 1.64-inch 456 x 280 AMOLED display, which is touch-sensitive. HONOR envisions this watch as having a personal trainer on your wrist.
The watch is only 10.7mm thick, and it has a 30mm watch frame. It comes with personalized watch faces, and six always-on display options. This watch weighs only 21 grams, without the strap.
It comes in Meteorite Black, Coral Pink, and Icelandic White color. 5ATM water resistance rating is included here, same as on the HONOR Watch GS Pro.
The company says that this watch can be fully charged in 100 minutes. It offers up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge. HONOR says that fast charge is also available with a 70-percent battery boost in 30 minutes.
This watch can keep track of daily activities. It can monitor your steps, burnt calories, and so on. You can use this watch as a remote camera shutter for your phone as well.
This watch can perform regular smartwatch tasks as well
Checking your notifications is also a possibility, of course, while you can also reject calls via the watch. Controlling the music is yet another option available, though that’s a given for a smartwatch.
This watch does come with a heart rate sensor, which is supported by the Huawei TruSeen 4.0 tech. The SpO2 monitor is also included to keep track of your blood oxygen saturation level.
The HONOR Watch ES can monitor your sleep, thanks to Huawei TruSleep 2.0. The watch will also give you recommendations on how to improve your sleep.
On top of everything, you can even get this watch to monitor your stress level with Huawei TruRelax. The Female Cycle Tracker is also an option on the HONOR Watch ES. The HONOR Watch ES will become available for pre-order, in Europe, starting on September 7 for €99.99.
