HONOR has just announced two new smartwatches at IFA, the HONOR Watch GS Pro, and Watch ES. These two smartwatches actually look considerably different one compared to the other. In this article, we’ll talk about the HONOR Watch GS Pro, while we’ve covered the Watch ES separately, you can read more about it here.
This smartwatch comes with a circular display. It is a sporty watch, which features s metallic chassis. There are two physical buttons placed on this watch, and both of them are located on the right.
The HONOR Watch GS Pro offers a 25-day battery life
This is a rugged smartwatch, in case its design did not reveal that from the get-go. This watch offers great battery life as well, it seems, as HONOR claims it can provide you with a 25-day battery life.
If this ends up being true, the HONOR GS Pro may be one of the longest-lasting smartwatches on the market at the moment. That wouldn’t surprise us, as the last few HONOR watches we reviewed offer a 2-week battery life on regular usage.
The HONOR GS Pro is MIL-STD-810G certified, as it passed over 14 tests as part of this certification. The watch features a 1.39-inch 454 x 454 AMOLED display, which is touch sensitive.
This smartwatch offers 5ATM water resistance certification, and it does come with GPS. The watch weighs 45.5 grams, without the strap. It comes in Charcoal Black, Marl White, and Camo Blue color options.
HONOR did not reveal how large its battery is, but it did say that it can be fully charged in less than 2 hours. That’s not bad at all, as it has such a long battery life.
The watch supports over 100 workout modes
The watch supports over 100 workout modes, including the newly-launched skiing mode. It can automatically detect your workout, and send you real-time alerts while you’re working out.
A heart rate sensor is included in this watch, and is supported by Huawei TruSeen 3.5 with an advanced AI algorithm to ensure accuracy.
The Sp02 monitor is also included here, and it can keep track of your blood oxygen saturation level throughout the day. The watch can also monitor your sleep. It can monitor your sleep time and sleep quality, with Huawei TruSleep 2.0.
On top of that, the HONOR Watch GS Pro also monitors your stress level with Huawei TruRelax. This smartwatch is coming to Europe soon. It will become available for pre-order starting on September 7 across Europe. The watch is priced at €249.99 (€50 discount for pre-orders).
