New leaks are here and this time it is for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition). The latest leaks reveal complete information about the device along with its two variants.
Reportedly, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) will come in 5G and 4G variants. Out of which, the 5G variant will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC while the 4G variant will be powered by Exynos 990.
Well, this is not the first time Samsung is unveiling a Fan Edition or FE edition of its device. Notably, the Galaxy Note 7 (yes, the burning phone!) was released in a Fan Edition variant.
Basically, this was done to refurbish already available parts and inventory of the discontinued Galaxy Note 7. However, Galaxy S20 FE will not follow suit.
Besides, it will be based on the Galaxy S10 Lite that was released earlier this year. Notably, the Galaxy S20 FE won’t be cheap and the 5G variant will cost around $878 approx.
Galaxy S20 FE to come with Snapdragon 865 and 128GB internal storage
As per WinFuture.de, the Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) will come with an onboard storage capacity of 128GB. Another source reports that the phone will house a triple-camera setup.
The triple camera setup will have a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP wide-angle sensor, and an 8MP telephoto camera. Besides, the device’s display will be flat with considerably wider bezels.
The Galaxy S20 FE leaks show that the phone will come in 6 colors. The Galaxy S20 FE 5G Snapdragon 865 variant will be available in European markets.
This is surprising because Samsung sells Exynos powered devices in Europe. The phone will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
Moreover, the phone will house a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, with 2400 x 1080 resolution. It will also come with a 120Hz refresh rate and will come with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The fingerprint scanner will be placed under the display. Though it is not clear whether it will be Samsung’s typical ultrasonic fingerprint scanner or the more common optical scanner.
The phone will come with a punch-hole display with a 32MP selfie shooter
The display of the device will have a punch-hole or what Samsung calls Infinity O display. It will house a 32MP selfie shooter for crisp self-portraits.
Other connectivity features of the device include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. However, there is no clarity on whether the phone will have a glass back or a plastic one. We speculate it would be the “Glasstic” back.
The phone is rumored to have IP68 certification, i.e. it will be waterproof and dustproof. Under the hood, the source report that it will pack a 4,500 mAh battery.
It will come with Android 10 out of the box. There is not much clarity on whether it will come with One UI 2.5 or any other versions of the One UI 2. For more information on all the leaks and details, you can head here.
