The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE hands-on video has just surfaced, before the device’s launch. As some of you know by now, the Galaxy S20 FE will become official on September 23.
The device has been leaking for a while now, and we have pretty much all information at this point. The latest leak does show the device up-close-and-personal, in a YouTube video, actually.
This leak comes from Jimmy Is Promo YouTube website. The very same source actually shared some hands-on images with the device last week. This video, which has a duration of about 6 minutes, fills in the gaps.
The Galaxy S20 FE hands-on video confirms the phone’s design, and various spec information
This video not only shows the phone’s design, but it also talks about various technical details of it aka its specifications. Let’s talk about the design first, shall we.
As you can see, the Galaxy S20 FE will feature a flat display. Its bezels will be thin, but not as thin as on some of today’s flagships. A centered display camera hole will be included at the top of the display.
The device will sit right between the Galaxy S20 and S20+ in terms of size. It will be larger than the S20, and smaller than the S20+. You can see the three phones lined up in the provided video (embedded below the article).
The phone’s corners will be rounded, and the same goes for display corners. The power / lock button sits on the right, alongside the phone’s volume up and down buttons.
Its triple camera setup is visible on the back, and all those cameras are a part of one camera module. That module does protrude on the back, and an LED flash is included inside it as well.
The phone’s back is curved towards the sides, by the way. The variant of the device shown here is blue, and it’s only one of many color options that will be available. Those color options did surface in a recently-leaked infographic.
The Snapdragon 865 will be included, along with a 120Hz display
The Galaxy S20 FE will be quite a powerful smartphone. The device will ship with the Snapdragon 865 64-bit octa-core processor. That is still Qualcomm’s flagship SoC, and the same processor that runs other Galaxy S20 smartphones.
A 6.5-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display is expected to be included. That display will also support a 120Hz refresh rate, by the way. A 4,500mAh battery was also mentioned, and the same goes for fast charging.
We’re not sure if the device will support wireless charging, though. The phone will, however, be able to connect to a 5G network, and it will also be water and dust resistant.
On the back, you’ll find two 12-megapixel cameras, and a single 8-megapixel until. The main, wide-angle camera, will be accompanied by an ultra-wide unit, and a telephoto one.
A 32-megapixel camera will sit on the phone’s front side, by the way. The leaked infographic also said that the phone will offer 3x optical zoom, and that a camera Night Mode will be supported as well.
As mentioned earlier, this smartphone will become official on September 23. Samsung only has to confirm everything we know already, as pretty much everything leaked.
