This smartphone will essentially become a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy S20 lineup. Depending on its price tag, it may actually turn out to be quite popular. The pricing is everything in this case.
The Galaxy S20 FE won’t be a mid-range smartphone, not at all. It will include a flagship processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 865. In addition to that it will be made out of metal and glass, and resemble the Galaxy S20 lineup.
Unlike those three phones, though, this handset will feature a flat display. That will be a high refresh rate display, in case you were wondering, and it will be an OLED panel.

Now, regarding this infographic, it shares a lot of information. First, it shows you the device in a number of color options. The Galaxy S20 FE will arrive in green, blue, purple, white, and red color variants. Samsung is obviously aiming at younger consumers with this device.
The infographic does confirm that 5G will be supported, while it also confirms the design of the phone. The company will combine glass and metal, with a triple camera setup on the back, and a centered display camera hole.
Two 12-megapixel rear-facing cameras, and a single 8-megapixel camera are confirmed here. The phone will feature a wide angle camera, backed by an ultra-wide angle one, and a telephoto camera.
A single 32-megapixel unit will sit on the front. The infographic also confirms 3x optical zoom, by the way. Camera Night Mode will be included, for better low light photography.
Display with 120Hz refresh rate will be included, along with a 4,500mAh battery
This infographic also confirms a 120Hz refresh rate, while the device will feature a fullHD+ AMOLED display. A 4,500mAh battery is also confirmed, as is water and dust resistance.
All in all, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is shaping up to be quite an interesting smartphone. It seems to be a flagship-grade phone, at least based on its specifications. As we mentioned earlier, pricing will be a key factor when it comes to this smartphone. Samsung needs to hit the sweet spot.
