T-Mobile launched TVision quite a while ago, but it was limited to only a few areas. This was launched after T-Mobile purchased Layer3, which was a TV streaming service, and what set it apart was the bandwidth it used – a lot less than competitors.

Today, in its latest Uncarrier event, T-Mobile announced TVision Live. Which comes in at $40 per month, making it very competitive with YouTube TV and Hulu with Live TV. For $40 per month, you’re getting 30+ channels, with live news and sports including ABC, FOX, NBC, Turner, ESPN and more. You’re also getting 100+ hours of cloud DVR available, and over 10,000 programs on-demand.

Users can upgrade to TVision Live+ which adds 10 more channels, including the NFL Network, ESPNU, SEC Network, The Golf Channel and more. T-Mobile is quick to point out that it is $15 less than YouTube TV, which has more than double the channels.

Finally, there is TVision Live Zone. At $60 per month, you get another 10 additional channels, and this includes NFL Red Zone.

The real exciting service is TVision CHANNELS though

In addition to TVision Live, T-Mobile also announced TVision CHANNELS. This is an a-la-carte streaming service, similar to Sling TV. But instead of adding cable channels, you’ll be able to manage all of your premium services. Like STARZ, SHOWTIME, and EPIX. It’s a lot like Amazon’s Prime Video Channels.

Finally, there is TVision VIBE. This is live and on-demand programming from AMC, BET, Discovery, Food Network, Hallmark, HGTV, MTV, TLC and more. There are 30 channels in total for only $10 per month. That is by far the lowest price for streaming live TV that you can get right now.

TVision is available on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and Google TV using the TVision app. As well as Android and iOS devices using the TVision mobile app.
