Rejoice, AT&T Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series owners, as the carrier has now started rolling out the stable Android 11 One UI 3.0 update for the entire lineup.

Notably, the unlocked variants of Galaxy S20 and Note 20 have already picked up the stable Android 11 One UI 3.0 update in different regions. And now, it is time for the carrier-locked variants to join the party.

The update brings all the latest and greatest features of Android 11 bundled with One UI 3.0 features. The update is pretty hefty in size and weighs 2.5GB. So, a strong internet connection is recommended to download this Android 11 update on the AT&T Galaxy S20 and Note 20.

Although the official AT&T support page for Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series are yet to be updated with the latest information, users on Twitter and Reddit have shared this piece of info.

Apart from all the user interface changes, and the stock Android 11 changes, this update also includes features of Samsung One UI 3.0.

This includes a new Quick Settings toggle, notification bubbles, redesigned volume controls, revamped home screen design, new icons, video enhancer, improved privacy and security controls, and much more.

The AT&T Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are receiving the Android 11 One UI 3.0 update with build CTL2. While, the Android 11 update for the AT&T Galaxy S20 series arrives with build CTKH.

The Android 11 update comes with November 2020 security patch level

Interestingly, the security patch level is still stuck with November 2020. Samsung was one of the few OEMs that shared its Android 11 One UI 3.0 update roadmap soon after the release of the update.

According to the official update plan, the Galaxy S20 series was first in line to receive the stable update. This was followed by the Galaxy Note 20 series. It is nice to see, carriers are also following the same pace at which the OEM is delivering the updates.

The important point to note is that the update is arriving via OTA in batches. So, you will have to wait before the update hits every AT&T Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series phones.

You can manually check for the update as well. And to do that, head over to “Settings.” Then navigate to “System updates.” From there, tap the “Download and install” option.

If a new update is available, then you can proceed with downloading and installation of the update on your phone. It is possible that the update won’t be available straight away. So, you may need to wait for the rollout to expand for more users.
