Samsung is currently beta testing the Android 11 One UI 3.0 update on some of its devices. Now the company has shared a detailed timeline on when your Samsung Galaxy device will pick up the stable One UI 3.0 update.
Several Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S20 series, Note 20 series, etc. are regularly getting the taste of Android 11 One UI 3.0 via the beta update.
Samsung has introduced some new features in One UI 3.0 along with features included with the Android 11. The features include new Quick Settings toggle, notification bubbles, redesigned volume controls, revamped home screen design, new icons, video enhancer, improve privacy and security controls, Bixby Routines with new UI, new Gallery app UI, and much more.
By sharing the Android 11 One UI 3.0 roadmap, Samsung has made its plans clear on when certain devices will pick up the stable update.
The rollout will begin from this month and will continue till August next year. As the tradition goes, Galaxy S20 series devices, i.e. the Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, S20 Ultra will the first to be treated with the Android 11 One UI 3.0 stable update this month.
Later the Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, and the Galaxy S10 lineup (excluding S10e) will receive the stable Android 11 with One UI 3.0 update in January 2021.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip & Z Fold 2 will also get One UI 3.0 stable update in January
As per the released schedule, the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold 2 will also get the Android 11 One UI 3.0 stable update in January next year.
However, the predecessor to the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Galaxy Fold (1st-gen) will receive the update in February 2021. Following this, the Galaxy A51, Galaxy M21, M30s, M31, Note 10 Lite, and the Galaxy Tab S7 will be updated in March 2021.
Starting April 2021, the Android 11 update will reach the Galaxy A50 and the Galaxy M51. The Galaxy A21s, A31, A70, A71, A80, Galaxy Tab S6, and the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will receive the update in May 2021.
Next in line would be the Galaxy A01, Galaxy A01 Core, Galaxy A11, Galaxy M11, and the Galaxy Tab A in June 2021.
In July 2021, the One UI 3.0 Android 11 update will reach the Galaxy A30 and the Galaxy Tab S5e. Moreover, in August 2021, the update will arrive for various devices, including the Galaxy A10, A10s, A20, A20s, A30s, Galaxy Tab A 10.1, and the Galaxy Tab Active Pro.
Note that the updates are released gradually in batches. So, the exact date and time of the arrival of the update could vary. You can check the Samsung Members app for your country’s official Android 11 update schedule.
