A total of 1,700 Olympic and Paralympic athletes from different countries are currently participating in the event. All these participants will be receiving a Galaxy S21 5G limited edition model as a token of appreciation from Samsung.
The limited-edition models of Galaxy S21 5G are wrapped in a beautiful blue color body. On the back of the phones, there will be a logo of either the Olympic rings or the three agitos, which is the symbol of the Paralympics.
So, Paralympic participants will receive the limited edition Samsung Galaxy S21 5G with the three agitos logo. While all other Olympic participants will get the Galaxy S21 5G limited edition with the Olympic rings logo.
Athletes in Tokyo are also invited to visit the Galaxy Athlete Lounge at Olympic and Paralympic Village
Apart from a free limited edition Samsung Galaxy S21 5G device, athletes in Tokyo are also invited to visit the Galaxy Athlete Lounge at Olympic and Paralympic village.
Athletes can visit the Galaxy Athlete Lounge just for getting to know more about Samsung devices. Moreover, they can also design a customized case for their free Galaxy S21 5G phones with stickers inspired by the Tokyo 2020 games.
Additionally, athletes can also collect exclusive Olympic and Paralympic pins. This is a nice gesture from Samsung to provide all such exclusivity for the Tokyo 2020 participants. As these are moments that these athletes will cherish for their lifetime.
If you are wondering, this is not the first time Samsung is offering special or exclusive phones for the Olympics. Notably, as noted by Phone Arena, back in 1988, Samsung gave a special phone to the participants.
Obviously, it was not a smartphone, because back then, people were smart and not any gadget. Olympic participants have been receiving free phones since Sochi 2014.
