Otterbox has announced its cases for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro handsets. The company announced its Defender and Symmetry series cases, which are well-known at this point. Otterbox is offering these cases for a number of different phones.
Otterbox announced several cases for the Pixel 6 series, and a screen protector as well
So, there are actually four different cases that you can get. Otterbox announced the Symmetry Series Clear Case, and Symmetry Series Antimicrobial Case. In addition to that, two Defender series cases have been announced as well, the regular one, and the ‘Pro’ one.
Price tags for all these cases are the same for both the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. That’s not exactly surprising as the two phones are both quite large, there’s no major difference here in regards to the size.
That being said, the Symmetry Series Clear Case is priced at $49.95, and it comes in a regular variant, and a “Stardust Glitter” model. This case is basically made out of silicone, and it offers really good protection, as do other Otterbox cases.
The Symmetry Series Antimicrobial Case has the same price tag, and it basically looks the same as the regular one. The difference here is that it offers a silver-based antimicrobial additive, it’s integrated into the case. It helps inhibit microbial growth and defends the case against many common bacteria. This case also comes in a “Stardust Glitter” variant.
The Defender Series Case comes in two color variants
The Defender Series Case is available in Black and Fort Blue colors. It is priced at $59.95. This is a heavy-duty case, and it offers multi-layer construction. It can handle some serious drops, and even protect your device against dirt. The included holster does double as a belt clip, by the way, or a hands-free kickstand.
The Defender Series Pro Case is not much different in terms of looks. Its back side looks different thanks to the horizontal lines that are included, and this case also comes in Black and Fort Blue colors. This case does include the same antimicrobial protection as the Symmetry Series Case we’ve talked about. It has the same price as the regular Defender Series Case.
In addition to all those cases, Otterbox also listed a screen protector for both phones on its ite. The price for that screen protector is $19.95.
All of these cases (and a screen protector) are already listed over at Otterbox, but they’re not yet available to purchase. That will change really soon, though, and you can sign up on the company’s website if you’re interested.
