ZAGG is a popular company for making screen protectors and cases for smartphones. Today, the company just announced its new line of products in the InvisibleShield and Gear4 line. These new ZAGG cases are made for the recently launched Pixel 6 devices.
There are two InvisibleShield models for both phones
Starting off, there are the Glass Elite screen protectors in ZAGG’s InvisibleShield line. These are thin yet sturdy planes of glass that you put over your phone’s screen to help protect it. The company ensures that the phone’s fingerprint scanner will still work through the glass. The company also made one that’s for curved displays like the one on the Pixel 6 Pro.
The screen protector for the Pixel 6 is, admittedly, a bit pricey at $49.99. Since the one for the Pixel Pro is slightly bigger, it will run you $59.99.
These ZAGG cases for Pixel 6 phones can protect them from falls over 10 feet
ZAGG also unveiled cases under its Gear4 line for the Pixel 6 phones. First off, there’s the Havana case. It’s a sleek and crystal-clear case that’s ruggedized. It has D300 (a tough rubber material) on the top, bottom, and corners to help protect it even more; these are the places most commonly affected by falls. The rest of the case is made from sturdy plastic with a rigged design on the back.
According to ZAGG, this case can protect your phone from falls as high as 10 feet. If you want to pick one up, it’s going to cost you $29.99.
Next, there is the Crystal Palace case. ZAGG also made these cases transparent so that people can still see the Pixel 6. Regardless of being transparent, it still offers protection from falls. This case is made from D300 crystalex which is a clear protective material that’s also really thin.
The back panel, however, is made from polycarbonate. ZAGG points out that this is the same material in bullet-proof glass, but don’t expect this case to stop a bullet. Regardless, it can protect your phone from drops as high as 13 feet. If this case piques your interest, you can buy it for $39.99.
