It’s raining security updates, all thanks to Samsung. Notably, according to SamMobile, multiple Samsung phones are being served with the latest November 2021 security update.

The devices that are currently receiving the latest November security update include the Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Note 9, and the Galaxy S20.

Apparently, the international models of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series have already bagged the November update. Now, it is time for the US variants of the Galaxy S20 series to pick up a security patch.

Talking about the update for the Galaxy S20 series, it arrives with firmware version G98xU1UES2DUJ7. The latest software is live for AT&T, Comcast, C-Spire, and Sprint’s networks in the US.

Galaxy S10 series owners in Europe are also receiving the latest November security update. The firmware for Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10+ arrives with version G97xFXXSEFUJ2. Whereas for the S10 5G model, the software comes as G977BXXSBFUJ2.

After updating Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 with the latest security update, it is time for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 to pick up the update. It is rolling out in several European countries with version number F916BXXS2EUJ1.

November update for Galaxy Note 9 is currently live in South Korea

To be specific, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 update is available in Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, and Slovakia.

This also includes Slovenia, Southeast Europe, Spain, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the Baltic region, the Netherlands, the Nordic region, the UK, and Ukraine.

Last but not the least, Galaxy Note 9 is also receiving the latest security update. However, the update is currently live in the home country of South Korea. It carries the software version N960NKSU3FUJ2.

So, it is advised that if you own an eligible device and reside in the above-mentioned regions, then you should upgrade your phone with the latest security patch.

Because along with bumping the security patch level to November 1, 2021, the update also brings general bug fixes and stability improvements.

As usual, Samsung is pushing the updates via OTA in batches. This means the update will arrive gradually on all phones. In order to manually check for the update, you need to open the Settings menu on your phone.

Then navigate to Software update > Download and Install. If the system detects a new update, your phone will show a notification. Tapping on which will initiate the download process.
