Samsung is gearing up for its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2022. The online event next week will see its next-gen flagship smartphones — Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra — break cover. All of these devices have been leaked extensively over the past few months. And as they near their market debut, accessories are starting to appear in stores as well. We recently saw a few official protective cases for the three models in renders as well as real-life photos. Now, we get to see a few more of them courtesy of the UK retailer MobileFun.
The retailer has listed several official cases for the vanilla Galaxy S22 with their UK pricing. We have the Silicone Cover (£24.99), Silicone Cover with strap (£44.99), Transparent Clear Cover (£16.99), Frame Cover (£44.99), Transparent Frame Cover (£44.99), Protective Standing Cover (£28.99), Clear Standing Cover (£29.99), Leather Cover (£43.99), Smart LED Vier Cover (£58.99), and the Smart Clear View Cover (£48.99). All of these cases are available in multiple color options.
Interestingly, the Smart Clear View Cover for the Galaxy S22 sports a different design from that for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. It has a narrow transparent window running across the length of the top leaf. Something we have seen in the past as well. However, for the Galaxy S22 Ultra this year, Samsung has changed things a bit. Instead of a long narrow strip, it has opted for a rectangular window in the top-right corner. The functionality likely remains unchanged though. It should you quickly see the Always-On Display.
Based on a prior leak, Samsung could offer at least 66 different case options for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra combined. So users will have plenty of ways to customize their new Galaxy flagship. And if the recent reports of the company releasing a Bespoke Edition Galaxy S22 turn out to be true, there will be more color options for the device itself as well.
The Galaxy S22 series is almost here
Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series has been the talk of the town lately. While the devices are yet to go official, they always find a way into the news thanks to the flurry of leaks as well as some teasers from the company. The wait is almost over now though. The Korean firm has scheduled its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2022 for February 9. So it’s just about a week away now.
