Samsung last week released the One UI 4.1 update to the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series in the US. The initial rollout was limited to the carrier-locked variants on Verison’s network. The new update is now available to the 2020 Galaxy flagships on more networks. The US Galaxy Z Flip 3 variant is also joining the One UI 4.1 party.

The Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are receiving the One UI 4.1 update on T-Mobile and Sprint networks, SamMobile has confirmed. Other remaining carriers should also jump on the bandwagon soon. The updated firmware version for these two phones is N98xU1UEU2FVC5. Note that we are talking about the carrier-locked variants here. The update has yet to hit the unlocked Galaxy Note 20 variants.

The same goes for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra as well. The carrier-locked variants of the flagship trio are now receiving the One UI 4.1 update more widely in the US. The update comes with firmware version G98xUSQU2FVC5. Their unlocked counterparts have yet to jump on the bandwagon. That might not be too far off though.

Samsung has also released the One UI 4.1 update to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the US. Rolling out with firmware version F711USQU2CVC7, the update is currently available to carrier-locked variants of the phone. The unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 3 is still awaiting the new One UI version.

The Galaxy S20 FE 5G is also receiving a new software update in the US. Unfortunately, it’s not One UI 4.1 yet. The affordable Galaxy flagship is only getting the latest March 2022 Android security patch. But the device is already picking up One UI 4.1 in international markets. So the US units should also join the party soon.

The new security patch brings fixes for over 50 vulnerabilities from Google and Samsung. The Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy Note 20 phones are also receiving the March SMR (security maintenance release) with the latest update.

The original Galaxy Fold is also getting One UI 4.1

Samsung’s One UI 4.1 update has also reached the original Galaxy Fold that debuted back in 2019. Both LTE and 5G versions of the foldable are picking up the new One UI version. As of this writing, the update is rolling out to users in France and the UK. The new firmware version for the phones is F90xxXXU6HVC6. This update should reach more markets, including the US, soon.

One UI 4.1 is the latest iteration of Samsung’s Android-based custom software. It brings an improved Object Eraser, improved Color Palette, Grammarly-integrated Samsung Keyboard, Google Duo live sharing, customizable RAM Plus, and a bunch of camera features.

Samsung has been rolling out One UI 4.1 to its eligible devices for a couple of weeks now. If your Galaxy smartphone or tablet is eligible too, you should be receiving the new version soon if you haven’t already. Watch out for an update in the coming days and weeks.
