Something really interesting surfaced on Twitter. One of the most prominent tipsters around, Ice Universe, teased a rather interesting-looking smartphone. He says that this mysterious smartphone is coming next month, and it will essentially shock us with its design.

He says that this phone “looks like a perfect version of the Galaxy S22 Ultra”. He added that the phone doesn’t have a display camera hole, and that it has narrower bezels than the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
He also added that it possibly has “the narrowest chin of a curved screen phone”. At the very end of his tweet, the tipster added that this is “probably the best look of 2022 mobile phone”.
This is some high praise when it comes to smartphone design. We’re wondering what phone is this. If we had to guess, we’d say a smartphone from one of the well-known Chinese companies that we’re not aware of at the moment. We could be wrong, though.
Some of you may think this is Nothing’s first smartphone, but that’s not as likely. The first smartphone from the company is coming in the Summer, and Summer officially starts in June.
It will likely include an under-display camera
In any case, this phone sure seems interesting. We presume it will have an under-display camera, considering that a display camera hole won’t be a part of the picture. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has immensely thin bezels, and this smartphone is expected to eclipse it.
It’s a shame Ice Universe didn’t share more detail, but maybe he will in the near future. May is right around the corner, so we won’t have to wait for long before this handset becomes official.
If we had to guess, we’d say that it will offer high-end specifications, as it’s highly unlikely any company would use such a design on a budget phone or something of the sort (at least not at first). It remains to be seen, though.
UPDATE: Ice Universe followed up on his tweet by mentioning that this OEM is not amongst the top 10 smartphone OEMs in the world.
