A lot of information regarding Samsung’s Unpacked event got revealed. Jon Prosser, a well-known tipster, revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 will get announced on August 10. He also revealed their colors, and when they’ll be released. Well, he did something similar for the Galaxy Watch 5, as it shared the information on its launch, colors, and more.
The Galaxy Watch 5 is said to launch on August 10, during the company’s Unpacked event
The Galaxy Watch 5 will arrive during the same event as the company’s foldable devices. It is expected to launch on August 10, which is also when the pre-order period will start. The watch will become available to purchase on August 26.
Three different variants will arrive, based on this information. We’ll get 40mm, 44mm, and 46mm versions of the Galaxy Watch 5. Those variants will arrive in different color options, and the 46mm model will have the ‘Pro’ addition to its name.

A 40mm Galaxy Watch 5 will be available in Phantom Black, Silver, and Pink Gold colors. A 44mm model will arrive in Phantom Black, Silver, and Sapphire (blue-ish) colors. Finally, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro (a 46mm model) will launch in Phantom Black and Silver colors only.
Considering that this smartwatch is coming in three sizes is actually great for consumers. You’ll have plenty of choices here. Women will most likely go for the 40mm model, and maybe even some men with thinner wrists.
Both the 44mm and 46mm watches are a bit on the larger side, especially the 46mm model. We still don’t know the price tags of these watches, so stay tuned for that.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 will launch during that very same event. So we’ll see quite a few products being announced during it. Samsung may even announce a new pair of earbuds during that event, we’ll see.
