AT&T has just spilled the beans on Galaxy S23 pricing in the US. The wireless giant prematurely published a promo page for the new Samsung flagships on its website a couple of days before the phones go official. The page has since been taken down, but not before the world could see the pricing and availability details of the devices, as well as their color options, key specs, and features.
The Galaxy S23 lineup has been subject to a myriad of leaks over the past few months. There’s not much mystery left around them now. Leaks have even revealed the pricing structure of the unannounced Samsung flagships. Rumors are that the devices will come costlier than their respective predecessors in most markets, including Europe. But Samsung is keeping the prices unchanged from the Galaxy S22 series in the US. AT&T has now confirmed that (via).
The now-withdrawn promo page mentioned that the Galaxy S23 will start at $799.99. That’s for the 8GB+128GB variant of the base model. The base variants (8GB+256GB) of the Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra will cost $999.99 and $1,199.99, respectively.
AT&T also confirmed that the phones will be available for purchase in its online and offline stores from February 17. Pre-orders will begin immediately after tomorrow’s launch, though.
While AT&T didn’t talk about pre-order benefits, we are hearing that Samsung will offer a free storage upgrade to anyone who purchases the phone between February 1 and February 16. You will get the higher storage variants at the above-mentioned prices: 8GB+256GB Galaxy S23 at $800, 8GB+512GB Galaxy S23+ at $1,000, and 12GB+512GB Galaxy S23 Ultra at $1,200. This pre-order promotion will also be available in Europe and a few other markets.
AT&T prematurely publishes Galaxy S23 details
Along with pricing details, AT&T also prematurely published the key specs and features of the Galaxy S23 series. There are no surprises, though. We already know pretty much everything about the upcoming Samsung flagships. They will bring substantial upgrades over the 2022 models.
We are getting a brighter display on the base model, bigger batteries in the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+, improved cameras, a bigger and faster under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, stronger Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the latest LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, and more.
As said earlier, Samsung will officially take the wraps off the Galaxy S23 lineup tomorrow. The launch event will kick off at 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
The Korean firm will also unveil several new Windows laptops at the event, including its first-ever “Ultra” laptop. We will cover all the latest happenings at tomorrow’s Galaxy Unpacked here on Android Headlines, so stay tuned.
