The alleged OPPO Find X6 prototype has surfaced online, and it has a gigantic camera bump. If you check out the images in the gallery below the article, you’ll be able to see the device.
The OPPO Find X6 will include a gigantic camera bump, it seems
Four images are included there, and in two of them you can see the camera bump, while one of the images shows how much the phone is angled when placed on the table. That camera bump does seem to be quite huge.
It is also in line with a render of the phone that surfaced a while back. That render got shared by Evan Blass in mid-December, and you can check it out below this paragraph.
You can clearly see that two large camera sensors are included in the camera module, along with a periscope camera unit, and an LED flash. Hasselblad branding is, of course, also here. Hasselblad is in charge of color-tuning OPPO’s and OnePlus’ cameras, well, cameras on flagship devices from the two companies.
A small display camera hole will also be included
The images in the gallery below do give us a better look at the phone from the front, and its right side. A display camera hole will once again be in use, and it will be centered at the top. That camera hole will be quite small, though.
The power/lock button is easily noticeable on the right, while the volume up and down buttons will sit on the right. You can also see that the secondary loudspeaker will be placed at the top, or at least it seems like it. The device will also utilize a curved display.
The OPPO Find X5 series arrived at the end of February last year. So, next-gen models will probably debut next month, possibly during MWC 2023, the timing fits.
The Find X6 Pro is expected to utilize a 1-inch camera sensor
The OPPO Find X6 Pro is expected to ship with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. It will be interesting to see what can OPPO do with that sensor, and how will it compete with the likes of Vivo and Xiaomi.
A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera (Sony’s IMX890 sensor) is also expected, and a periscope telephoto camera as well. We still don’t know what sensor will OPPO use for it, though.
The OPPO Find X6, on the flip side, is said to utilize a 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX890 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, OIS), and two 50-megapixel cameras (ultrawide and telephoto units).
The Find X6 Pro is tipped to ship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but the Find X6 will use a different SoC. It will utilize the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, if rumors are to be believed.
