At the end of its MWC 2023 event, Xiaomi shared a list of its phones that will start getting MIUI 14 soon. Yes, we’re talking about devices for global models, not their Chinese counterparts.

Xiaomi has shared a list of phones that will start getting MIUI 14 soon

To be quite honest, Xiaomi hasn’t been very specific with the exact timeframe. The company said that the devices on the list will start getting MIUI 14 by the end of Q1. Some devices from the list may have to wait longer than that. The rollout will start by the end of March, but only for some phones.

The Xiaomi 13 series does ship with MIUI 14 out of the box. The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro include Android 13 as well, while the Xiaomi 13 Lite is still on Android 12. Do note that just because a phone runs MIUI 14, doesn’t mean it has Android 13 too. It could include Android 12. So keep that in mind, as your phone may still be on Android 12, and run Xiaomi’s latest UI.

This list includes Redmi devices as well

That being said, yes, the company did share a list, and it includes Redmi phones as well. You can check out that “rollout schedule” in the image below.

MIUI 14 initial rollout schedule

The Xiaomi 12 series will likely be amongst the first to get the update. So, the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro will likely get it first, and the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro may get it at the same time, or soon after. We presume the Xiaomi 12 Lite will be included in there somewhere as well.

Xiaomi did list a number of additional devices here, though. The company included the Xiaomi 11T, 11T Pro, the Mi 11, Mi11 Ultra, and Mi 11i. The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is also listed, and the same goes for the Mi 11 Lite, and MI 11 Lite 5G.

Now, in terms of Redmi phones, four are listed here. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10, and Redmi Note 5G are the devices in question. That’s basically everything.

We probably won’t get a more detailed rollout info than this

Xiaomi may share a more detailed timeframe moving forward, but that’s not as likely. The rollout will start towards the end of Q1 this year, and you’ll simply have to wait and see when will the update land on your device.
