OPPO has just confirmed that the global variant of the Find N2 Flip will launch on February 15. The event will be hosted in London, UK, and it will kick off at 2:30 PM GMT / 3:30 PM CET / 9:30 AM EST / 6:30 AM PST.

The OPPO Find N2 Flip global launch event is scheduled for February 15

OPPO is even teasing an “invisible crease” via its social media channels, seemingly poking fun at Samsung. The OPPO Find N2 and Find N2 Flip have a much less noticeable crease than any of Samsung’s foldable smartphones thus far.

Both the OPPO Find N2 and Find N2 Flip launched already. They got announced in China back in December. We’ve reviewed the Find N2 already, even though that handset won’t be making way to global markets, at least not as things stand right now.

The OPPO Find N2 Flip is a different story. This is the very first foldable smartphone from OPPO to be making way to global markets. We still don’t have the availability details, of course, but it will likely have a wide range of availability.

The OPPO Find N2 Flip features OPPO’s “New Generation Flexion Hinge”, which is thinner, smaller, and stronger than the one included in the OPPO Find N. On top of that, it has a lot less parts on the inside.

We already know what to expect, as the phone launched in China

Now, considering that this phone has already launched in China, we know exactly what to expect. The phone will include a main 6.8-inch fullHD+ foldable display. That will be an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,600 nits of peak brightness.

The secondary panel will be a 3.26-inch AMOLED panel, which is actually quite large for a cover display on a clamshell foldable. That display will be vertically oriented, unlike what the competition offers.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ fuels the phone in China, though it remains to be seen if it will do the same globally. OPPO may have switched to a Snapdragon chip instead. Either way, it will be more than powerful enough.

A 4,300mAh battery will sit on the inside, while 44W charging will be supported. A 50-megapixel main camera will be backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide unit. OPPO will livestream this press event too, and the link is included below.
