The very first OPPO Find N3 rumor has already appeared, and it suggests we’re in for a major camera boost. This rumor actually comes from Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese tipster.
The OPPO Find N2 launched not long ago, so it’s odd to see a rumor regarding its successor so soon, but… here we are. Considering the source, it may actually be accurate as well.
The OPPO Find N3 may get a major camera boost
The tipster mentioned three devices in his post, the OPPO PHN110 (which is seemingly the Find N3), the Huawei Mate X3, and a third, mystery device. He suggested that those devices will utilize a periscope camera on the back.
As a reminder, the OPPO Find N2 does have a really good camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultrawide one, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera. Hasselblad’s color tuning is also a part of the picture, as is the MariSilicon X NPU.
The Find N2 does perform really well in the camera department, especially for a foldable smartphone. Well, its successor may offer an even more significant boost. It may even become the first foldable with a periscope camera, if we don’t see one launched in the meantime.
The upcoming OPPO Find X6 Pro may include a periscope camera too
Now, the OPPO Find X6 Pro, which is expected to launch in the near future, is also tipped to include a periscope camera on the back. That is something its predecessor did not offer. It will also include an improved main camera, it seems.
The OPPO Find N3 won’t launch until the end of this year, though, so we’re in for a long wait. The Find N2 arrived on December 15, and it launched only in China. It launched alongside the Find N2 Flip, a clamshell foldable.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip will be making its global debut in the near future, but the same cannot be said for the Find N2. OPPO opted not to bring that device to global markets.
