Ulefone has announced a rugged tablet, the Armor Pad. This device has been teased by the company a while back, and now it’s official. It’s an 8-inch tablet that sure does look like it can take a hit.
The Ulefone Armor Pad is the company’s brand new rugged tablet
Ulefone specializes in rugged devices, so it’s no wonder this tablet looks very nice, despite the fact it’s a rugged product. It is IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certified. So, not only is it water and dust resistant, but it is resistant to extreme temperatures, drops, and shocks too.
The MediaTek Helio G25 SoC fuels this tablet, while you’ll find 4GB of RAM on the inside. Ulefone also included 64GB of storage here, while Android 12 comes pre-installed on the device.
There is an 8.0-inch 1280 x 800 display included here, and it has a 60Hz refresh rate. Stereo speakers are a part of the package too, and the same goes for two nano SIM card slots. There is also a separate microSD card slot.
It includes a 7,650mAh battery on the inside
A 7,650mAh battery can be found on the inside, and it will take you 2.5 hours to fully charge it. Bluetooth 5.2 is supported, and the same goes for Wi-FI 5 dual-band.
A 13-megapixel camera (f/2.2 aperture, 79.3-degree FoV) sits on the back, along with an LED flash. On the front, you’ll find a 5-megapixel unit (f/2.0 aperture, 83.3-degree FoV).
The Ulefone Armor Pad also has a custom key on the side, and a 6-pin uSmart Expansion Connector for external tools, like some Ulefone phones have. You can attach an endoscope to it, or a microscope, for example.
