A new leak has popped up about the Pixel Tablet that sheds light on a handful of details about the upcoming product, including colors, some of the specs and possible included accessories.
The new leak, reported on initially by 9To5Google, suggests the tablet will come with 8GB of RAM and it will have the dock included. 8GB doesn’t sound like a lot but it’s likely going to be more than enough for what this tablet is designed for. In addition to the RAM, the tablet will reportedly launch with the Tensor G2 chip and come with Android 13.
As for the dock, it wasn’t clear whether or not this would be coming with the device. It certainly seems like something that could be an optional accessory. But that is apparently not the case.
The Pixel Tablet will come in four colors
Ahead of this leak the Pixel Tablet was already known to come in two different colors. One that looks like the Sage color offered on the Pixel 5 and another that appears to be beige. Featuring black and white bezels respectively. It seems Google also has plans to launch the tablet in two additional colors. Although it’s still not known what those colors will be.
It would make sense though for both of them to closely follow the color scheme of more recent devices. The tablet will also come with two storage options. As for accessories, there are likely to be more than a few. The leak however only mentions one. An optional case that will serve as light protection.
The Google Pixel Tablet is expected to be announced on May 10 at Google’s annual I/O conference. It’ll likely make an appearance alongside the Pixel Fold and the rumored Pixel 7a smartphone. Launch dates are of course still unknown. But pre-orders for the Pixel Fold are rumored to be May 30. So there’s a chance the Pixel Tablet could go up for pre-order around the same time.
