While Google I/O is still a few weeks away, we’re starting to see some rumors for the upcoming devices that are expected to be announced there. That includes the Google Pixel Fold.

Which, according to Jon Prosser, the Pixel Fold is going to be announced at Google I/O on May 10, with pre-orders opening the day. Pre-orders at partners will start on May 30 – that’s likely Best Buy, Amazon, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, etc. And then the devices will officially go on sale on June 27. Now what about pricing? Well, Prosser has stated that it will cost $1,799. Putting it at the same price as the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Pixel Tablet is also slated to be announced on May 10 at Google I/O too. Though, we’re not sure if it will go on sale that same day, or be a bit later like the Pixel Fold.

Pixel 7a also gets pricing and release date

Prosser has also leaked the pricing and release dates for the Pixel 7a. It’ll be announced at Google I/O on May 10, with sales starting that day. No pre-orders, just immediate sales. Which would explain why we are seeing retailers getting the devices already.

Pixel 7a will come in Charcoal, Snow, Sea and Coral. A few more colors than the previous a-series have been available in. It’ll be priced at $499, that’s a $50 increase over the Pixel 6a and previous a-series models as well.

What’s interesting here is that Prosser notes that the Pixel 6a won’t be discontinued. Since it has been on sale for $299 for quite a few months, now we could see that become its new permanent price. Giving us a Pixel device from $299 up to $899. Which is a pretty nice range.

So there you have it. No real surprises on either front, as both are being released right when we expected it. And both prices are right about what we expected.
