OnePlus has announced its new mid-range handset, the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G. This smartphone got announced in India, though it may arrive to more markets moving forward.
The device has a flat display, with relatively thin bezels. Its bottom bezel is slightly thicker than the rest, though. There are three cameras included on the back, split over two camera islands. An LED flash sits next to those two camera islands.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is official with a 120Hz display, and more
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite features a 6.72-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) LCD display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. Its refresh rate goes from 30 to 120Hz, as it’s adaptive. The Asahi Dragontrail Star Glass protects this panel.
The Snapdragon 695 fuels the phone, while OnePlus included 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM here. There are two storage models available, one with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and the other with 256GB. Both models offer expandable storage of up to 1TB.
A 5,000mAh battery sits on the inside of this phone. The device supports 67W SuperVOOC charging, and it does come with a charger in the box. Wireless charging is not supported.
Android 13 comes pre-installed on the device, along with OxygenOS 13.1. The phone does include stereo speakers, and an audio jack. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is also a part of the package, and it doubles as a power/lock key.
The phone also includes a 108MP camera, and comes in two color options
A 108-megapixel main camera (Samsung’s HM6 sensor, f/1.75 aperture, EIS) is backed by a 2-megapixel depth camera. A 2-megapixel macro camera (f/2.4 aperture) also sits on the back. On the front, you’ll find a 16-megapixel selfie camera (Sony’s IMX471 sensor, f/2.0 aperture).
This smartphone includes two nano SIM card slots, though you can use one of them to expand the phone’s storage via a microSD card. This is a hybrid setup we’re familiar with.
