There’s no more doubt at this point, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is coming. The phone has been rumored for a long time. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra just passed another checkpoint on its way to launch, basically, as it seemingly got certified in Singapore.

The phone was cleared by IMDA, as it arrived with a model number 2304FPN6DG. That doesn’t really say much, though. This certification doesn’t really share much info, other than saying that the device will support 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC.

The device is tipped to launch later this month, on April 17, at least based on a leaked poster. The specifications of this handset also surfaced quite recently, indicating one notable improvement over the Xiaomi 13 Pro.

Xiaomi seems to be planning to include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera on this phone. Based on the leaked spec info, that will be the fourth camera on the back, in addition to the three included on the Xiaomi 13 Pro.

That is realistically the only major thing that Xiaomi can improve compared to the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The phone is said to include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, just like its sibling, and the other three 50-megapixel cameras. So, it’s supposed to have four 50-megapixel cameras on the back, overall.

Yes, that 1-inch main camera sensor will still be included, and the same goes for Leica lenses. The same 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED display will also be included, and will offer a 120Hz refresh rate (adaptive).

The phone is tipped to feature a 4,900mAh battery, which is a bit larger than the one in the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The phone will support 90W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging, while the charger will be included in the package.

Based on Xiaomi CEO’s comments from last year, this ‘Ultra’ phone will launch globally, though it will first launch in Xiaomi’s homeland, of course. Xiaomi still didn’t confirm its launch event or anything like that.
