Following the information that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra may include a variable aperture on the main camera, the phone’s memory, storage, and pricing information just surfaced.

All this info was published on Weibo. The base Xiaomi 13 Ultra model is said to include 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Two other setups will be available. The middle-of-the-road variant will feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The top-end model will offer 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Now, in terms of pricing. The base model is said to cost CNY6,299 ($916) in China. The 12GB RAM model with 256GB of storage could cost CNY6,799 ($988), while the 16GB RAM model with 512GB of storage will be priced at CNY7,499 ($1,090).
This shows that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will cost a bit more than its predecessor, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. Unlike its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will launch globally as well. That is something the company confirmed already.
Xiaomi will unveil this handset later this month
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will launch at some point this month. Xiaomi still didn’t announce its launch date, but both April 17 and April 18 were mentioned recently. April 18 is the most recent date mentioned, and it comes from a well-known Chinese retailer.
This smartphone will not only bring variable aperture to the main camera, but also a fourth camera on the back, a periscope telephoto unit. So, it will have more camera prowess than the Xiaomi 13 Pro, that’s for sure.
It’s also expected to offer a slightly larger battery than the ‘Pro’ model, and slightly slower charging (120W vs 90W). The phone is tipped to offer 50W wireless charging, and the same 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED display from the Xiaomi 13 Pro. That display includes all the bells and whistles you’d expect.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel the phone, of course, while LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage will be included too.
