Back in March, OnePlus announced a special edition OnePlus 11 handset in China. That device was named ‘Jupiter Rock Edition’. It comes with a “unique” back cover texture which is made out of 3D microcrystalline rock. It’s not only wear-resistant but also antibacterial.
A special edition OnePlus 11 will no longer be exclusive to China
Having said that, OnePlus has finally decided to offer that device in another market, it’s finally leaving China. It will be available in India, but under a different name. It will be called the OnePlus 11 5G Marble Odyssey.
The company teased the arrival of the device, while confirming its name. In its teaser, which you can check out above the article, you can clearly see that it’s the same device. OnePlus also said that it’s ‘coming soon’, but we still don’t know the exact launch date.
The OnePlus 11 5G Marble Odyssey will come in a unique box, and it will be a limited edition smartphone. We’re not sure if it will be offered in more markets, but for now, OnePlus is only teasing an India launch.
The phone arrive to global markets in two color variants
As a reminder, the OnePlus 11 launched in global markets in March, in two colors. It arrived in Eternal Green and Titan Black color variants. So, your options are quite limited. This new variant would definitely spice things up, as it does look rather unique.
As far as the specs are concerned, OnePlus won’t really change them. In China, this handset included 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage. So it’s basically the most powerful OnePlus 11 variant you can get.
Other specs are the same as in every other OnePlus 11 handset. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is here, and the phone includes a 5,000mAh battery. 100W wired charging is also supported, while three cameras sit on the back of the phone. Hasselblad is also a part of the picture.
