Ulefone has announced a new smartphone, the Note 16 Pro. This is more of a budget device compared to some of the company’s more recent offerings. It’s also not a part of the ‘Power’ or ‘Armor’ lineups.
The Ulefone Note 16 Pro caters to consumers who are not interested in the company’s rugged smartphones
In other words, this is not a rugged phone, nor does it pack a gigantic battery. This device is here to cater to consumers that are looking for a regular smartphone, basically. The device has relatively thin bezels, though its bottom bezel is thicker than the rest. It also includes a waterdrop notch.
All of its physical buttons sit on the right-hand side (the power button doubles as a fingerprint scanner), while two cameras are implemented on the back. The phone has flat sides all around, and also rounded corners, and display corners.
The Ulefone Note 16 Pro includes a 6.52-inch HD+ (1600 x 720) LCD display. That is a flat panel, by the way. The Unisoc T606 SoC fuels the device, while this phone comes with 8GB of RAM. It also offers up to 8GB of memory expansion, via software. Ulefone also included 128GB of storage here, but you can expand that via a microSD card (up to 256GB of additional storage).
It has two cameras on the back, and ships with Android 13
A 50-megapixel main camera (Samsung’s SKKJN1 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 0.64um pixel size) sits on the back, alongside a 2-megapixel macro camera. A single 8-megapixel camera is located on the front.
The device supports 4G connectivity, and has two nano SIM card slots. Android 13 comes pre-installed on the device, while Bluetooth 5.0 is supported as well. There is also an audio jack included here.
A 4,400mAh battery sits on the inside, and supports 10W charging. A charger is included in the box. You’ll be charging this device via a Type-C port, by the way, which is located at the bottom of the phone.
The Ulefone Note 16 Pro measures 165 x 76.4 x 8.7mm, and weighs 184 grams. The device comes in Meteorite Black, Midnight Violet, and Serenity Blue colors. If you’re interested in grabbing one, or finding out more about the device, the links are included below.
