Now that Android 14 is finally starting to roll out, you might be wondering which Pixel devices are eligible for this update. Well, we have that info for you right here.

Android 14 is officially available for the Pixel 5a and newer. So that means the Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet. And of course, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are launching with Android 14. This does mean that the Pixel 5a is the last Pixel device without a Tensor processor to get updated. This does still represent three years of updates for the Pixel 5a, which was guaranteed to get updates until August 2024. So it could still get Android 15 next year, depending on when it actually comes out.

What’s new with Android 14? Not a whole lot. Google is adding some nice changes for the lock screen, where you can change up the way the clock looks and have it sync with the Material You look on the rest of your phone. You will also see some changes for the battery life screen in Settings. Giving you the screen on time front-and-center. Among a few other things.

What other phones are getting Android 14?

While we don’t know for sure which models will get updated just yet, we do know that many other OEMs have already started their beta programs for Android 14. This includes Samsung, which is already on its fifth beta for One UI 6 which is based off of Android 14. OnePlus announced its OxygenOS 14 beta last month. So both of those OEMs should start rolling out Android 14 in the coming months.

We’ll have to stay tuned for updates from other OEMs like Xiaomi, Honor, OPPO, ASUS and others to find out when they will roll out the update, as well as what models will get updated.
