So, if you’ve been wondering how well do Apple’s new iPhones do in terms of battery life, well, things will become much clearer soon. Mrwhosetheboss, one of the best-known tech YouTubers nowadays, decided to test the battery life of the iPhone 15 Pro, and its siblings, and also included some of its siblings.
New test shows disappointing iPhone 15 Pro battery life
The devices included in the test are the iPhone 15 Pro Max, 15 Pro, 15 Plus, 15, 14 Pro Max, 14, and 13 Pro Max. He actually approached this in the right way, as he basically decided to conduct various tasks on the phone throughout the day, replicating what he would do in general.
Of course, considering this is a battery test, he kept the screens on, and ran through tasks one after the other, to see which phone would last longer. The results are quite interesting.

During the test, he used TikTok, Spotify, ChatGPT, Zoom, Camera, YouTube, and more. Out of the phones tested, the iPhone 14 died first, followed by the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15. The iPhone 14 Pro Max was next, followed by the iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and finally… the iPhone 15 Plus.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max & iPhone 15 Plus offered great results
It seems like the new chip affected the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro battery life more than we thought it would. This is odd, because the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Plus showed the best results here.
The bottom two, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 Pro lasted 9 hours and 2 minutes and 9 hours and 20 minutes, respectively. That’s not a horrible result, but it’s kind of disappointing.
The best performing two, the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Plus, managed to last 11 hours and 41 minutes, and 13 hours and 19 minutes, respectively. The iPhone 15 Plus basically crushed the competition in this test.
