The leaks have been on full-blast for the past few days, for the Google Pixel 8, ahead of its launch next week. And now, @Za_Raczke has posted screenshots of the official Google Store pages for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, over on X. Which pretty much gives us every single detail for the new phones.
This comes after he also detailed all of the specs for the new phones earlier this morning.
Let’s start with the Pixel 8. The screenshots from X show that the Pixel 8 will use the “fast and secure” Google Tensor 3, it also touts stunning photos and videos every time. Ass well as new features and software update for seven years. Google is also promoting the new Actua Display, which is going to be much brighter this year. We’ve heard about 2,000 nits peak brightness. As well as fast charging, which is now set to be about 30W. And Google is also talking about durable materials on the Pixel 8, that will make scratches and spills no big deal.
Some of the other parts of the store page show the camera features for the Pixel 8, as well as how it works with other Pixel devices like the new Pixel Watch 2.
Pixel 8 Pro touts matte back glass and aluminum frame
The Google Pixel 8 Pro is also touting that it has a polished aluminum frame, and matte back glass. Similar to the Pixel 7 Pro. As well as having that immersive 6.7-inch Super Actua Display, which is said to be about 2,400 nits peak brightness in direct sunlight. Of course, it is also highlighting some features we already knew about, like the adaptive 120Hz display, and the Tensor G3 processor inside.
On the camera front, Google is highlighting “Four exceptional cameras. Completely upgraded.” It mentions the 50-megapixel main camera which is going to provide better low-light photos, as well as the new 48-megapixel ultrawide camera, the 48-megapixel telephoto and the 10.5-megapixel front-facing camera. It does tout Magic Editor in Google Photos, but mentions that it is coming soon, so likely coming in the first Pixel Feature Drop around December, or possibly later on.
Just about every detail of the new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro has been leaked already, and it’s coming right from Google. So there’s little left to the imagination unfortunately. But, Google is set to announce the new phones on October 4, live from New York City.
