Google’s Pixel 8a has leaked in a render showcasing the phone’s alleged design. The render has popped up just days after Google officially unveiled the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

And if the render is accurate, then unsurprisingly it looks just like you’d expect. That is to say it looks just like the Pixel 8 does. Only with some very subtle tweaks that if not pointed out, you might not ever notice they were there. The Pixel 8a render leak comes from Smartprix and OnLeaks (via Droid Life). Aside from the image that shows the overall design, Smartprix also notes the dimensions of the device.

According to the leaked details it measures 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9mm. This is very slightly smaller than the Pixel 8 dimensions, though not by much. And for many people it might look and feel like the same size because the there’s almost no difference.

Pixel 8a render shows the phone will come in ‘Rose’ color

Another unsurprising factor is that the Pixel 8a will apparently come in the brand-new Rose color. This is one of the colors of the Pixel 8, and also one of the colors exclusive to it that the Pro model doesn’t have. It’s a bright hue that looks a lot like a shade of rose gold. Now this won’t be the only color the phone comes in but it does appear to be the one color that matches up with the regular Pixel 8. Just like with last year’s Pixel 7 and Pixel 7a that were both offered in ‘Snow.’ The Pixel 7a also came in three additional colors, which were Coral, Sea, and Charcoal.

So there’s decent chance that Google will launch this phone in a total of four colors as well. When it comes to the slight differences in design, all that’s really changed is a seemingly thinner camera bump in addition to the rounded corners.
