Everything new with the Pixel Buds Pro update that is rolling out to users worldwide
This update brings two new features to the Pixel Buds Pro and they both aim to improve usage. The first feature is Conversation Detection while the second is Hearing Wellness. Both features can be activated from the Google Pixel Buds app on either Android or iOS devices.
With the new Conversation Detection feature, users can better enjoy conversation despite having the Buds Pro on. The feature switches from Active Noise Cancellation to Transparency mode to help users engage in conversations more freely. Users will love this feature since it performs this switch automatically once it detects that the user starts talking with others.
Well, there is a possibility that this feature is automatically turned on when the user isn’t engaging in a conversation with anyone. Possibly they might just be singing along to the song they’re listening to and the Buds feel they are talking. In situations like this, the Buds Pro lets users revert to Active Noise Cancellation with just a single tap on either bud.
As for the Hearing Wellness feature, it helps keep track of current loudness levels. It also prepares an accumulated exposure report to give users insight into how long they were exposed to damaging loudness levels. With these details, users can move away from areas that are too loud to protect their hearing.
The reports from the Hearing Wellness feature will be on display within the Pixel Buds Pro app. Some users are already getting this update while others might be yet to get it on their Pixel Buds Pro. In the coming months, Google might also introduce more useful features to the Pixel Buds Pro to help improve usability.
