HONOR has announced that two of its new products are around the corner. The HONOR Magic Vs2 and Watch 4 Pro are coming on October 12, and it seems like the Magic Vs2 will be even thinner than the Magic V2.
The HONOR Magic Vs2 is coming, and it’ll be even thinner than the Magic V2
HONOR’s Magic V2 handset originally launched back in July, but it made a global appearance last month during IFA in Berlin. The phone is still not available in global markets, but its successor could be.
The HONOR Magic V was not available globally, but the Magic Vs was. So, the upcoming Magic Vs2 could launch globally, unlike the HONOR Magic V2. We’ll have to wait and see.
The good news is that the Magic Vs2 will be an improvement compared to the Magic V2, at least when it comes to form factor. HONOR actually said that it will be thinner and lighter, based on Android Authority’s report.
In the spec department, the HONOR Magic V2 could have the Magic Vs2 beat, though. Based on a report by Digital Chat Station, one of China’s most reliable tipsters, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will fuel this smartphone. The HONOR Magic V2, on the other hand, is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The phone is also said to include a 2K main, foldable display, 16GB of RAM and offer a side-facing fingerprint scanner. 66W fast wired charging is also mentioned, and the same goes for a 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.9 aperture). The tipster also said that a 2.5x portrait lens is coming. A third camera on the back will be a 16mm ultrawide unit.
The tipster says that the HONOR Magic Vs2 is aiming at traditional smartphones in terms of pricing and thickness. So, you can expect it to cost less than the Magic V2. The thing is, the Magic V2 was already unbelievably thin for a foldable. It is still the thinnest book-style foldable on the planet. So… it will be interesting to see what is HONOR planning.
