Google’s new Pixel Watch 2 is finally official after quite a few leaks well before the announcement, and now that it’s here you might be wondering when you can pre-order the device. The new Pixel Watch 2 is going to be the same price as Google’s original Pixel Watch last year which means your options are $349 for the Wi-Fi-only model or $399 for the LTE model.
So when can Android users pre-order the new Pixel Watch 2? Well the good news is that you’ll be able to pre-order really soon. How soon you may ask? That’s the other good news. Pre-orders for both versions of the Pixel Watch 2 will begin today, October 4. Following the pre-orders, the watch will ship out to those who placed a pre-order on October 12 and be available for purchase that same day.
Obviously Google is focusing pretty heavily on getting these pre-orders out the door fast. And not too surprising given it’s doing the same thing for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones.

The Pixel Watch 2 brings in many notable upgrades both inside and outside the watch. It’s now using the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 5100 chipset for faster performance. And paired with Wear OS 4 the chipset helps the watch be more power efficient to save on battery life. The watch now gets a full 24 hours on one charge. It’s also packed with new sensors for better heart rate tracking, as well as new features like the auto tracking of workouts. Which the Pixel Watch from 2022 was unfortunately missing.
As mentioned the Pixel Watch 2 is available for pre-order today, and you can get it from retailers like Best Buy, as well as directly from the Google Store. It should also show up on Amazon and may be available in local retailers as well.
